mini course: understanding sewing patterns

Are you familiar with the basic functions of your sewing machine, but maybe a bit apprehensive about jumping into garment making? Then this lesson package is for you!
Over the course of three 2 hour sessions, you'll learn everything you need to know to navigate modern sewing patterns, all while making something you'll love to wear, and that will fit you just right.
This lesson package comes with all the materials you'll need to make the garment we pick out together, plus some essential tools that will serve you well in your future sewing adventures. You'll also walk away with lifelong skills you can apply to any sewing project!

This lesson includes:
- sewing pattern & instructions for one garment (we will choose a good one together!)
- fabric appropriate for the pattern
- notions appropriate for the pattern
- machine needles
- spool of all-purpose thread
- swedish tracing paper
- 18" drafting ruler
