intro to machine sewing: in person

If you are a brand-new beginner, this is the lesson for you!
In two hours, you will learn all about your machine and become comfortable with it's features, basic operation, and troubleshooting techniques. You'll get a chance to practice some basic stitches, and then you'll make a simple project so you can see your new skills in action!
This two hour lesson comes with a kit that includes everything you need for your first project, plus some essential sewing tools that will serve you well, long after you graduate to more complicated projects!

This kit includes:
- sewing scissors
- quilting pins
- tomato pin cushion
- clay tailor's chalk in 2 colors
- seam gauge
- tape measure
- seam ripper
- 2 hand sewing needles
- 2 safety pins
- 2 spools of all-purpose thread
- fabric and ribbon for 2 drawstring bags
- 2 paper practice sheets
