Where and how are Holland Cox products made?
All Holland Cod products are handmade by designer Valerie Williams (that's me!) in Alexandria, Virginia, just a few miles away from Washington, DC. No refugee children suffered for your new gear.

When will I get my stuff?
All items are shipped from Alexandria, VA using the US Postal Service's Priority Mail. Items in stock will ship immediately. Items out of stock and custom orders are handmade at the time of your order, and will ship within ten business days, unless another delivery date is discussed.

 

I bought this as a gift and my friend/family member doesn't like it. Can I return it?
You should totally keep it for yourself! But, I do make every effort to make your handbags and accessories of the utmost quality. If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your order, please contact me within 7 days of receiving your order for return instructions. Please do not send merchandise back until you have contacted me. Custom orders, hair accessories, or any orders with customized options are not returnable.

 

So many of your things are one-of-a-kind. What if the thing I want is sold out?
You should subscribe to the Insider's List to make sure you see all the new collections first! Depending on the item, I may be able to custom-make something for you that is similar, but not an exact copy. Contact me with what you're interested in and we'll go from there!

I want to make handbags, too! Can you teach me?
Yes I can, I love teaching sewing! If you're in the DC area, check out all the different options for sewing lessons here.

 

Can I get a refund on sewing lessons? I do not offer refunds on sewing lesson packages. However, your lessons do not expire, so no worries if your schedule is a bit too hectic right now! You can also gift your lesson hours to a friend. If you're not sure if you want to commit to a lesson package, contact me and we can set up a quick (complimentary) call where you can tell me about your sewing goals, and ask any questions you like! 

 

What should I wear?
You should definitely wear more color, and more prints! Check out the inspiration and how to wear it tags on my blog. Then you should sign up for the Insider's List, because subscribers get a great series of posts I wrote especially for Insiders about how to discover your personal style. You'll never hate your closet again!

 

What are you going to do with my email address if I subscribe to the Insider's List?
Check out my privacy policy for details on how your personal information is handled at Holland Cox. (Basically, I will use your address to send you occasional information via MailChimp.)

As a subscriber to the Insider's List, first you'll get a short series of welcome messages from me, designed to be helpful and inspirational!

Then, you'll get regular messages about once a month (sometimes less often, and sometimes more often when there's something exciting going on, which is usually only during the holidays), in which I'll share more inspiration, outfit ideas, behind-the-scenes peeks, announcements of new collections, and (best of all for you!) exclusive introductory prices on new products.
