project kit: perfect zippers

Do you already have some basic sewing skills, but have found yourself frustrated by installing zippers? Then this is project kit for you! 

This project kit includes everything you need (including detailed instructions with photos) to create samples for the most popular zipper applications. Not only will you be able to practice each zipper style with expert guidance, you'll have a great physical reference you can return to again and again. 

The kit also includes materials and instructions for making a simple zipper pouch, plus some essential sewing tools that will serve you well, long after you graduate to more complicated projects!

You will need your own sewing machine with all its attachments (including a zipper foot), plus an iron and ironing surface, but everything else is included in the kit. Check out the contents below:

- two invisible zippers

- two metal teeth zippers

- four #3 nylon coil zippers

- wonder tape or fabric glue

- one color of clay tailor's chalk

- spool of all-purpose thread

- fabric and interfacing for zip pouch project

- zip pouch template

- written instructions for creating each sample, and for the zip pouch project
